3,he dressing depth affects the force characteristics of the
grinding wheel grains. When the dressing depth is small, the damage
strength of the grinding wheel grains is small, resulting in micro
breakage, forming a micro edge and high profile precision, which is
suitable for fine grinding. When the dressing depth is large, the
wear particle is broken by force, part of the binder falls off,
forming a sharp cutting edge and chip space, which is suitable for
rough grinding.
